Astonishing ANZACs

Hi everyone

In literacy, Me and my mum have been very busy, first, we searched the internet for 12 common phrases. Then I created those phrases using emojis.

Now for maths in maths we had a lot of fun making a cross for everyone in my family who fought in world war one and world war two. We also had to measure the perimeter of it. In case you cant read the names on the cross here they are... World war one-George Roberts and Stockton, who was the brother of my great great granny. World War two-Stanly Ellis, James Head, William Nicholson,
William Manks.

Now for the grand finale... Mum and I made poppys for the garden. If you want to make your own here's the link to the video. LINK <link

Beautiful Well Have A great long weekend bye

  1. Hi Billy! It's your awesome sister Gaia!
Nice post! I like your work! Here are my guesses for the emoji phrases:
Love birds, Speak of the devil, See no evil hear no evil speak no evil, An apple a day keeps the doctor away, Run like the wind, When you laugh the world laughs with you and Money can't buy love. I couldn't exactly get the other ones. I also love your poppies and the cross you made!
    Anyways Bye!

  2. Billy...what a day! Busy and lots of fun. I think your great grandads and your great, great grandad and great, great uncle would be so very proud of all you've done this week. I'm sure there are plenty of relatives we've forgotten...so I'm pleased you had the idea to put an extra poppy on the cross for them. You've really thrown yourself into all your topics this week. Amazing work. I wont guess the emojis as I know what they are!
